Angela Shiue

Dr. Angela Shiue is a native Houstonian who attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, one of the nation’s top medical schools. She stayed at UT Southwestern for her Internal Medicine residency before coming home to Houston for her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Shiue is board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology and was the recipient of the Dupont/Fuentes Endowed Fellowship Award in Cardiovascular Medicine during her fellowship.

Kaushal Patel

Dr. Kaushal Patel is fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He attending Washington University School of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the nation. He completed his training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine right her in Houston. He was selected Chief Resident and received several awards for outstanding patient care during his training. He specializes in treatment of cardiovascular, arterial and venous disease. He multilingual and able to speak Spanish, Hindi and Gujarati.

Benjamin Metz

Dr. Benjamin Metz graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. He then moved to Fort Worth and completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

After graduating from medical school, he returned to Houston to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Thereafter, he completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the same institution, during which he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Metz stayed with the University of Texas for one additional year for sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
