A native of Houston, Dr. Dave went to Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX. He graduated with magna cum laude Honors from Texas A&M University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Minor in Music. He acquired his medical degree and Orthopedic Surgery residency training from the University of Texas – Medical Branch in Galveston. He also completed his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy from the renowned Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Jackson, MS.

Dr. Karan Bhalla is fellowship trained and board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention. Dr. K. Bhalla is also board certified in Internal Medicine. He has trained under some of the best cardiologists at University of Texas, Houston and currently serves as faculty at UT. Dr. K. Bhalla offers state-of-the-art therapies to the South East Houston, Friendswood and Bay Area of Houston.
