Dr. Brown is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with expertise in the latest biologic, arthroscopic, and minimally invasive techniques. He provides compassionate and comprehensive care for all structures of the musculoskeletal system affected by sports participation and degenerative joint conditions.

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Brown grew up in Southeast Houston and moved to Friendswood in high school. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with honors with a degree in kinesiology and biology. During his undergraduate and early post-graduate years, he applied his passion for biomechanics, physiology, and sports medicine as a master personal trainer.

Following medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Brown completed a five-year residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Brown is thrilled to return to his hometown to serve the greater Clear Lake community. He currently performs surgery at Houston Physicians’ Hospital, Doctors United Surgery Center, and Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, and sees clinic patients in his second-floor office at Houston Physicians’ Hospital.

Dr. Brown is married to Kristina, his high school sweetheart, who is currently a school nurse in Friendswood. They have four amazing children: three girls and a boy. In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys fitness, golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
