Andre Michael Samuel, M.D.

Dr. Samuel grew up in Houston in the Clear Lake City area. He went on to study Economics and Finance at Baylor University graduating in the inaugural class of the Baylor Business Fellows. He next attended Yale School of Medicine graduating with honors. Dr. Samuel then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, annually recognized by the U.S. News and World Report as the #1 hospital for orthopedic surgery. He then gained additional expertise in orthopedic spine surgery at the prestigious Rothman Orthopedic Institute in Philadelphia. During this time covered one of the nation’s busiest spinal cord injury centers at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, treated professional athletes under the world-famous Alexander Vaccaro MD (President of Rothman Institute and Team Physician for Philadelphia Eagles [NFL] and Philadelphia 76ers [NBA]), and served as an assistant clinical instructor to orthopedic residents. Dr. Samuel also has over 70 peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters, lectures, podium presentations, and poster presentations during his career.
