Houston Physicians' Hospital Imaging
Houston Physicians’ Hospital’s state-of-the-art medical imaging creates a visualization of tissues, organs, and body parts to diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases. This process allows our physicians to look closely into the patient’s body, so they can properly diagnose the patient. Because each patient is different, their medical conditions can vary. Our Imaging takes into consideration each patient’s size, weight, age, and other unique factors. Imaging is a pain-free way to give our physicians an advantage at addressing whatever might be affecting the patient. Because we use the latest technological advancements in the field of imaging, diagnoses can be more easily made, and our physicians are better able to confirm a doctor’s initial thoughts and concerns after seeing a patient and evaluating them.
Types of Imaging
Medical imaging is useful for the diagnosis and treatment of many disease.
The most common types of imaging are:
- CT (computed tomography) scans
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)
These imaging procedures allow physicians to determine the best treatment options based on your health concerns and the results of the image. If you believe you may be suffering from a condition that needs a more thorough diagnosis, imaging may be a helpful first step toward treatment.
