Veronica is the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing at Houston Physicians’ Hospital where she manages all clinical areas in the facility to include Pre-Op, Operating Room, Emergency Room, PACU, and the Inpatient Unit. She received her MBA with an emphasis in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix and her BSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. With over ten years of experience working in the healthcare industry, Veronica has held several positions to include: Clinical Manager, Director of Perioperative Services, Director of Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement, and Infection Control. She is also a member in good standing of several professional organizations namely AORN, APIC, and the Alumni Association of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
