Dr. Nagamani is board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Medical College of Georgia, she joined the faculty at the University of Texas medical branch (UTMB) at Galveston. Prior to starting this current practice, she was Professor and Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Director of the REI Fellowship Training Program at UTMB for more than 25 years. Dr. Nagamani has been awarded numerous grants by the National Institute of Health and other sources for her studies on polycystic ovary Syndrome (PCOS). She is internationally recognized as an expert in treatment of infertility in women with PCOS and she has published extensively in this area. She has more 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and has written several book chapters in the area of hyperthecosis which is a severe form of PCOS. She has been treating patients as a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for more than 25 years and uses the latest methods in the treatment of infertility.
