  • Dr. Garcia is triple board certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Medical Specialties in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Though he practices in a private setting, he is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Additionally, he is involved in physician proctoring for advanced interventional pain management techniques. Dr. Garcia partnered with Dr. Joseph T. Alvarez in 2001 to found Space City Pain Specialists, a new paradigm in the treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Garcia speaks Spanish fluently.
