- Dr. Canlas is a native of San Angelo, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Angelo State University and his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed one year of medicine at the Cleveland Clinic followed by three years of specialty training in foot and ankle surgery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
